Celles-ci ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au cours de la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e portes ouvertes qui s\u2019est tenue le mercredi dernier \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Selon un rapport dress\u00e9 par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement du Cacao (<strong>SODECAO<\/strong>), la fili\u00e8re cacao fait face depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 de nombreuses difficult\u00e9s. Il s\u2019agit entre autres de l\u2019insuffisance de la production r\u00e9sultant du faible rendement des exploitations, la forte pression parasitaires sur le verger, la baisse de la fertilit\u00e9 du sol, le vieillissement du verger et des producteurs, la d\u00e9ficience du conseil agricole et la baisse drastique de la production de la <strong>SODECAO<\/strong> dans les trois<br>principaux champs semenciers.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:image {\"id\":2918,\"sizeSlug\":\"large\"} -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/sodecao.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/imjpo2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2918\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sodecao.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/imjpo2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sodecao.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/imjpo2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sodecao.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/imjpo2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sodecao.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/imjpo2.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<!-- \/wp:image -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La v\u00e9tust\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riel du g\u00e9nie civil et du mat\u00e9riel roulant constitue \u00e9galement un s\u00e9rieux probl\u00e8me dans l\u2019atteinte des objectifs que s\u2019est fix\u00e9 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Ainsi, c\u2019est par une journ\u00e9e portes ouvertes que la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement du cacao <strong>SODECAO<\/strong>, bras s\u00e9culier de l\u2019Etat en mati\u00e8re<br>de d\u00e9veloppement de la cacao culture, a tenu \u00e0 mettre en avant ce 30 septembre 2020, son savoir-faire et ses r\u00e9alisations tant sur le plan agronomique, g\u00e9nie civil que sur le plan administratif et financier. Une activit\u00e9 qui vient quelques semaines apr\u00e8s le lancement officiel de la campagne<br>cacaoy\u00e8re 2020- 2021.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>En marge de l\u2019ambition de porter la production \u00e0 640 000 tonnes \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2030, la <strong>SODECAO<\/strong> a entrepris de relever de grands d\u00e9fis tels que l\u2019arrimage le budget de la structure \u00e0 une gestion ax\u00e9e sur les r\u00e9sultats. La nouvelle dynamique met \u00e9galement un point d\u2019honneur sur la s\u00e9curisation du patrimoine foncier et immobilier de la structure, la mensualisation des salaires afin de galvaniser les employ\u00e9s et les actions de s\u00e9curisation de ses recettes propres.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Outre des reformes financi\u00e8res et administratives, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a \u00e9galement proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la distribution de 4&nbsp;000 000 de plants de cacaoyers aux producteurs en 2020 et projette d\u2019en distribuer 5 000 000 en 2021. Pour le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, \u00ab la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de la cacao culture camerounaise sur les march\u00e9s internationaux passe in\u00e9luctablement par la production en quantit\u00e9 et en qualit\u00e9 suffisantes de plants de cacaoyers tra\u00e7ables et distribu\u00e9s aupr\u00e8s des producteurs selon des normes \u00bb.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Pour ce qui est de doper la production du nouveau Bassin de l\u2019Adamaoua et notamment l\u2019extension de la fili\u00e8re cacao dans les autres r\u00e9gions septentrionales du pays, Jean Claude Eko\u2019o Akouafane explique que la r\u00e9gion de l\u2019Adamaoua n\u2019est que la phase pilote et les r\u00e9sultats sont en cours d\u2019acquisition. Il convient de reconnaitre que ces zones sont r\u00e9put\u00e9es par un manque d\u2019eau n\u00e9cessaire pour la croissance des plantes.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La cacao culture compte en \u00e0 ce jour 78 hectares de champs semenciers r\u00e9partis dans 3 centres sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s de production de semences notamment dans les villes de Mengang, Nkoemvone et Abong-Mbang. L\u2019on compte \u00e9galement 276 p\u00e9pini\u00e8res cr\u00e9\u00e9es entre 2018 et 2020, 12,3 millions de plants de cacaoyers produits ainsi que 10 297 hectares de plantations cr\u00e9ent par des planteurs locaux. En ce qui concerne les travaux de r\u00e9habilitation, la <strong>SODECAO<\/strong> a remis sur pieds 16 hectares de productions et produit 3,5 tonnes de cacao marchand en 2019. Il est donc plus que n\u00e9cessaire pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de converger vers la grande ambition nationale.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Pour y arriver, outre la conf\u00e9rence inaugurale qui a meubl\u00e9 cette journ\u00e9e Portes ouvertes, l\u2019on a eu droit \u00e0 des visites des diff\u00e9rents ateliers et stands de la <strong>SODECAO<\/strong>.
