Handing over of a watering system in Lolodorf

The General Manager of SODECAO and his entourage have, in turns, proceeded with the handing over of irrigation devices constructed in the various localities of the Centre, East, South and Littoral regions , where SODECAO’s External Units are located. This Tuesday September 05, 2023, it was the turn of the Lolodorf locality in the Ocean Division.

The inauguration ceremony , which took place in the office premises of the SODECAO Sector, had two main highlights:

- The inauguration of the borehole with a 5000 L capacity Cubitainer ,

- The handing over of agricultural equipment and phytosanitary products to the Sector Head for the preparation of nurseries, for the 2023-2034 season. SODECAO plans to increase seedling production 100 000 , contrary to previous years.

In his speech, the General Manager who was accompanied by the Divisional Officer, lauded the efforts made by all the stakeholders to ensure that this project comes to fruition. He urged the Sector Head and his staff as well as the local population, to make good use of the watering device, which augurs a better tomorrow for cocoa seedling production and cocoa farming in general, in this locality.
