Created by presidential decree No. 74/83 of February 2, 1974 and reorganized by decree No. 84/078 of March 19, 1984, the Cocoa Development Corporation “SODECAO” is a Public Agricultural Establishment with a legal personality. It is placed respectively under the technical and financial supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development “MINADER” and the Ministry of Finance “MINFI”.
