Handing over of watering systems and newly created fields at Abong-Mbang and Ma'an in south region

It was quite a journey for the delegation led by the General Manager of SODECAO, who visited the Zoetele and Meyomessala localities in the South region, on September 20, 2023.

The objective of this descent was to proceed to the inauguration of watering systems in the nurseries of these communes.

During the inauguration ceremonies, the staff of the two Units concerned were encouraged to work hard in order to achieve the objectives set for the 2023-2024 season.

Furthermore, with a view to improving the working conditions of the staff and facilitating the achievement of the set objectives, the GM handed over a motocycle to the Head of the Zoetele Section.

Taking advantage of their presence at the inauguration ceremonies, the Divisional Officers of the said localities promised to closely monitor the way the water devices are used in a bid to ensure that they are put to good use.

Needless to say that the cocoa farmers in these localities will no longer face problems relating to access to seedlings, as both the quality and quantities will improve.

The two ceremonies ended in a “good-natured” atmosphere.
